FOOTLIGHT is a place to play, but it's also a place for discovery and even some hard work. Everyone is a member of the company, and the company spends a month together creating and rehearsing plays for public performance.

We teach daily workshops in performance and backstage technology, and kids get to learn by doing creative projects. Each child or teen is treated as an individual in a caring, nurturing program that helps them discover their creative potential.

This project is supported by the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA), the regional arts funding partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency. State government funding comes through an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania’s General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a Federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance (PRAA).
