Recently the College of Fine Arts has been making changes in the lab to help make the lab a btter place for instruction.  We have also made strides in making our lab match the other labs on campus.  Listed below are the changes made and what we plan to get out of the changes.

• Computer Upgrades

  This year will be upgrading 9 of the computers in the Fine Arts Lab.  We now have 16 800Mhz G4s.  This process will continue we have planned for the coming year to finish off the last three Macs and make them G4s as well.

• Software Upgrades

This past summer we upgraded most of the software in the lab.  This upgrade included Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Finale, Band -in-a-Box, and MacLux.

• Projector Upgrades

The old Eiki projector that had a resolution of 640X480 was replaced this year with a new NEC projector that has a resolution of 1024X768.
