
Here is a front interior slice of the new Grand Lobby showing the upstairs Balcony, which will look out over the Oak Grove. The Grand Stairs on the right go along the exisiting exterior wall of Waller Hall up to the Grand Balcony and will be lined by glass panels etched with a design that echoes the art-deco brass grill work from Fisher Auditorium.

This slice shows the Grand Lobby and Balcony and its connection to Waller Hall. The white tower in the center houses an elevator that will provide access to both Waller Hall and the 2nd levl of the new Center and Fisher Auditorium.

Here we see the Grand Balcony in the Center. The doors on your right will lead into the re-furbished and expanded Mezzanine Lobby of Fisher Auditorium. The glass windows on the left will afford a spectacular look out onto the Oak Grove.

The architect's rendering above shows new restroom facilities adjacent to the water fountain on both the first level and second level of the new Center. On the first floor, the new ticket office is to the right. On the second floor, the new multi-purpose room is to the left and will be used for meetings, rehearsals, classes, and other activities.

The rear of the PAC shows Waller Hall on the left, the back of the Center and its stage entrance, and a double-dock receieving area for touring stage productions to load and unload.

This picture shows the back of the Center with the tallest structure being the exisiting stage house of Fisher Auditorium. This part of the new edition includes an enclosed receiving area in the back and a welcoming stage entrance in the middle. The remainder of this section includes offices, green room, dressing rooms, and other critical production support areas as well as locations for exterior locations for future art installations.

About the Center
The IUP Performing Arts Center at IUP is has been created by adding a 20,000 square-foot addition in between existing Fisher Auditorium and Waller Hall. Some of the highlights of what this new project provides include the following:
- Air-conditioning throughout the entire Center,
- Completely new wood-back seats in Fisher Auditorium,
- Two-story atrium grand lobby,
- 1400-sq. foot multi-purpose room for receptions, classes, rehearsals, and meetings,
- Full wheelchair accessibility for both Fisher Auditorium and Waller Hall,
- New dressing rooms able to accommodate up to 75, complete with rest rooms and showers,
- New actors’ Green Room,
- Road crew locker room,
- Two headliner dressing rooms,
- Gallery and commissioned art work locations,
- New administrative and production offices,
- Enclosed production receiving area with two loading docks,
- New ticket office and concessions areas in the PAC that can serve both Fisher Auditorium and Waller Hall performances,
- New state-of-the-art sound system for Fisher Auditorium with sunken control area,
- Enhanced lighting and refurbished reception areas with fresh paint throughout Fisher, and
- Significantly expanded restroom facilities.
