IUP CHAMBER SINGERS

The IUP Chamber Singers is the ensemble that specializes in works for small choirs from all historical periods. This choir performs a broad spectrum from early Gregorian chant to contemporary rock cantatas. Competition to be a member is often intense. This Spring, the Chamber Singers will have a short concert tour of eastern Pennsylvania from March 8 to 12 performing in high schools and churches. On April 6th they will sing a concert of Early Lutheran and Anglican Church Music at Zion Lutheran Church with organist, Christine Clewell. Finally, on April 28th, the Chamber Singers will join the IUP Chorale and chamber orchestra to perform Franz Tuma's Mass in C and Mozart's Vespers.This choral ensemble rehearses every M-W-F from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Cogswell Hall Room 120. Chamber Singers is offered for one credit (MUSC 121 001).
