Making it work -- Artist and IUP alumni Charles Olson creates 50-60 paintings a year and keeps a disciplined studio schedule that’s just short of having a timesheet. His most recent work, including ceramic pieces, will be on display in Kipp Gallery March 1 through 24.  

Gifts to museum - IUP alumni Robin Litton never intended to collect art, yet he and his partner have more than 400 pieces in their collection, which they have promised to the University Museum.

Face to Face / Woman to Woman
   Sounds of shattering glass - Libby Larsen and Valerie Capers will visit the IUP campus and free performances of works by women will be held during the four-day Sixth Festival of Women Composers International.
  

Calendar of Events - More than 10 events, including the opening of the museum exhibit Face to Face/Woman to Woman, celebrate the contributions, past and present, of women in the arts this spring.  
  
Camera Obscura - The premiere of Reliant Projects’ new interdisciplinary performance piece examines the invention of the photograph and coincides with the upcoming juried student photography exhibit.
  
Italians in Indiana County - The second exhibit in the museum’s ethnic history series opens April 26 and will be the last exhibit of this season.
