IUP CONCERT ENSEMBLES AUDITION
TROMBONE AUDITION MATERIALS
DATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 28TH
TIME: 1-3PM
PLACE: ROOM 128
All IUP students are invited to audition for any of the departmental ensembles. This audition will be for the following ensembles: Concert Band, Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra and Trombone Choir.
The audition will be in three parts:
1. A prepared piece of your choice, not to exceed one minute in length. The piece should show the best of your abilities.
2. The required piece for either bass or tenor trombone, as found on the IUP Trombone Studio Website at http://www.arts.iup.edu/facmus/cmdkson/studio/. You are to prepare the entire etude, using the 2nd ending for the tenor trombone etude.
3. Sightreading.
