Information for Artists

The deadline for the next round of artist applications will be March 15 (postmark).

Both documents are essential reading for applying. To view or print out the application information, you will need the proper software plug-in needed to view the document (Adobe Acrobat Reader). If you do not already have Reder 4.0 or higher, it is available free by going to Adobe Acrobrat. If you are having difficulties downloading or printing the application and information sheet and would like to receive an application, please be sure to email us or call us at 724-357-4565.

Option: Information for Applying Directly Online

If you prefer, you may apply online by going to the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Arts-in-Education website at http://www.pacouncilonthearts.org/aie/directory/. You will then be asked to register as a new user. You will NOT have to complete our paper application, but will still be responsible for reading the Artist Application Information Sheet and following directions provided with the online application. Note that the online information about work samples is limited, so we strongly encourage you to send in work samples through the mail as described on the this Artist Application Information Sheet.

If You Need Help

We greatly encourage all interested applicants to contact us if they have any questions whatsoever about this process. Assistance is available by contacting Jeff Wacker at (724) 357-4565 or email artspath-info@iup.edu. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will be available as much as possible; however, your inability to contact us in time to submit your application cannot be used as a reason for missing the postmark deadline.
