Christopher Weiland is Principal Faculty of The Center, teaching all levels of woodworking, turning, and furniture design. Chris received his MFA in Woodworking and Furniture Design from the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology (NY) in 1978.

Steve Loar is the Director of The Center, supporting the instruction, facilities, and students in a variety of ways. He also currently teaches Three-Dimensional Design, a component of the foundations program in the Department of Art. Steve received his MA in Studio Design from Northern Illinois University in 1975.
